St. Petersburg is actively developing Foodtech and Foodnet. The territorial proximity of eleven constituent entities and ensuring food security contribute to the development of markets for the supply, marketing of raw materials and products between the North-Western Federal District and the Russian regions.

AGRORUS 2022 is a key congress and exhibition project in the region aimed at developing agro-industrial infrastructure and ensuring its food security. The event consists of several interdependent parts aimed at different audiences:

What awaits you at AGRORUS 2022?

In 2022, the agro-food industry has been chosen as the thematic focus of the AGRORUS exhibition. There will be presented companies of all links in the chain — from the raw material base to the presentation and sale of products:

• Food. Food additives and ingredients.
• Zootechnics: Nutrition (mixed feed, feed additives). Breeding. Maintenance (veterinary, care products).
• Plant growing: Selection. Fertilizers. Plant protection products.
• Equipment for the food processing industry (including for small businesses in the agro-industrial complex).
• Packaging, storage, transportation, disposal services.

In addition to the thematic exposition of enterprises, professionals of the agro-industrial complex will be able to see the expositions of the regions and presentations of new products in a special area, as well as take part in the exhibition and sale of agro-food products. In addition, the exhibition will traditionally feature a Business Contact Center, where buyers and suppliers of Russian leading retail chains will be able to conclude new contracts.

The AGRORUS 2022 exhibition will be accompanied by an extensive business program, including the Agro-Industrial Congress, a number of industry conferences, round tables, seminars and business consultations. There will also be an industry competition Golden Medal of AGRORUS in various categories of agricultural and food industries, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.

What will AGRORUS 2022 offer?

At the AGRORUS fair, agricultural producers will be able to sell their products at a bargain price, while presenting new products. In 2022, it will be held under the motto "Gastronomic impressions from the leading farmers of Russia". Seven thematic zones will be presented:

• gastronomy;
• fruits vegetables;
• seasonal wild plants;
• fish and fish products;
• bread and confectionery;
• vegetative zone;
• honey and bee products.

Closely related to the latter is the popular and beloved by the guests competition People's honey tasting, which will determine the highest quality honey.

In addition to traditional food zones, it is planned to hold a gastronomic Festival of national cuisine. In addition, a large concert and entertainment program with the participation of folk groups and pop stars is planned.
