The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy of Germany (BMWi), as well as RAO Bumprom, the Association of Paper Industry Specialists (ASBO), Forest Products Engineers (PI), NP League of Waste Paper Recyclers and many others support the event. The traditional PAP-FOR forum is the platform where over 300 experts, representatives of the pulp and paper industry and the forestry complex, meet to discuss industry development trends and get new contacts and ideas for business. In 2020, Forum events will last three days instead of the usual two.

Key topics are strategies for the industry development and the state regulation issues, energy efficiency increasing of production, export of pulp and paper products, and the best available technologies in the industry.
