International Exhibition of Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning Systems ISH & CIHE Shanghai 2019 key topic is home comfort solutions

Entering its eighth edition ISH&CIHE Shanghai — Shanghai International Trade Fair for Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioning & Home Comfort Systems will open for trade from 3 — 5 September 2019 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

Committed to helping industry players tap into the East and Central HVAC and home comfort markets, the organizers have set up a number of themed display areas and zones to offer a targeted sourcing experience for fairgoers.

As the climate crisis becomes more evident, heating and cooling systems and solutions are increasingly important in the East and Central China regions. Complementary methods such as floor cooling and heating systems, electric heating products, wall-hung boilers, heat pumps and many others have become some of the most sought after solutions in the area. With this in mind, the trade fair will converge quality floor heating, radiators, water pumps, valves and fittings as well as heat meter manufacturers to display new products and technologies that are the most suited for the region.

Aligning with market needs for integrated heating and home comfort systems with more intelligent features, ISH&CIHE Shanghai is held concurrently with Shanghai Intelligent Building Technology, Shanghai Smart Home Technology, Shanghai International Lighting Fair and Parking China. The collective building technology fairs are expected to host over 650 exhibitors across 51,000 sqm of exhibition space.

As an important gateway for overseas companies to tap into the HVAC and home comfort market in East and Central China, ISH&CIHE Shanghai attracts numerous leading brands to participate every year. Visitors will find it rewarding to discover a comprehensive display of the latest heating solutions.

In recent years, with advances in air-conditioning and heat pump technologies that satisfy the Chinese government’s coal-to-electricity initiatives, floor cooling & heating (FCH) systems have rapidly become one of the most popular home comfort solutions in the region. To accommodate the diversified needs of the market in East and Central China, the new “Floor Cooling & Heating” zone will display some of the latest solutions that incorporate energy saving, efficiency and home comfort technologies in one. A designated display area and fringe program will be held within the zone for visitors to experience the state-of-the-art technology and gain new market insights.      

To cater for the market needs of East and Central China, a Premium Area will be featured again at this year’s fair. Premium brands from China and overseas will showcase outstanding home comfort products and technologies under the following four themes: Technology, Quality, Design and Technical Skills.

Adding more sourcing options for visitors, the European Pavilion has returned to the 2019 edition to capitalize on the rapid development of the HVAC market in East and Central China. Renowned HVAC brands from Germany, Italy and the UK will showcase the latest European heating products and innovations. European companies who are primed to showcase their latest innovations include AeroFlow, Afriso, Bampi, Brigon, Dephina, Detal-Met, Hoffer, Ideal, KANE, Radius, Sanica and WKL.

Moreover, to further fulfil the region’s needs for energy efficient home comfort heating devices, the Shanghai fair will feature the China Home Comfort System Design and Installation Competition Display Area, hosted by the past award winners of previous China Home Comfort System Design and Installation Competitions. Not only will a comprehensive collection of innovative designer home comfort heating and cooling solutions from China be on display, the area will also enhance the exchange of market intelligence, industry trends and design concepts across the industry.
