In less than a year it will be that time again, when the 21st round of Stone+Tec Nuernberg takes place at Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 17 to 20 June 2020. This international trade fair for natural stone and stone technology is where industry experts gather for professional knowledge-sharing.
They can also look forward to a diverse supporting program. As well as special shows, panel discussions and high-calibre presentations, several awards ceremonies form an integral part of the event. Stone+tec receives active support from major industry associations.
High-quality exhibition with strong international flair
“Stone+tec is a long-standing tradition at the Nuremberg exhibition venue and one of the most important industry events in the German-speaking regions,” says Beate Fischer, Director of Stone+tec. “We are looking forward to welcoming a lot of international exhibitors here to Exhibition Centre Nuremberg and offering visitors a top class event.”
Until 31 October 2019, companies can benefit from an early booking discount on the square meter price of stand hire. The detailed planning will begin this autumn.
Strong supporting program facilitates dialogue among experts
As well as the traditional exhibition area, the event is complemented by workshops, specialist presentations and panel discussions that offer trade visitors an ideal forum for knowledge-sharing and professional development. The special show “Our natural stone” promises once again to be a genuine highlight of the event. Other special presentations on the most important segments of Stone+tec — Technology & Chemicals, Materials, and Monumental Stonemasonry — are a fitting complement to the diverse exhibition program.
On the forecourt of the exhibition centre, young stonemasons will find a suitable platform to show off their skills. As in 2018, they can compete and win prizes in the Young Talent Competition organized by the Association of German Stonemasons (BIV) to honour the achievements of the next generation of stonemasons.
“It really matters to us to give young stonemasons in particular the chance to put their talents to the test. The Young Talent Competition is the ideal vehicle and a very valuable addition to Stone+tec,” Fischer says.
